Soldering
Confident as I was with the speaker's general design, I decided to march on and solder the brains of the speaker itself - the circuit board controller and the speaker diaphragm units.

I am using the Kitronik Bluetooth Amplifier Kit for this. This features 2x 5W full-range speakers with a diameter of 65mm, and a battery capacity of 1000 mAh, which I found more than capable of lasting a long time while keeping dimensions compact. Upon assembling it, this is how the speaker sounded with no enclosure as of yet.
It was now time to design the enclosure for this, first modelling it in Fusion 360 before building it.
